About the project
Currently, Ginger provides on-demand mental healthcare for individual employees within large organizations such as Buzzfeed, Chegg, Sephora, and more–offering services including behavioral therapy coaching, therapy, psychiatry, and self-care resources, all from the privacy of a user’s smartphone. These services are accessible and available at any time, 24/7/365.
Ginger has entered into an agreement with the University of Southern California to deliver mental health and wellness services through its app to all interested students, faculty, and staff. This is the 1st relationship of its kind for our company, so we are looking to develop marketing messages and visual elements with this pilot project that can be transferable to other schools and environments.
What is something USC students, faculty, and staff all have in common?
They all strive for high standards, and often lose sight and control of their mental health state as a result. Ginger is here to provide on-demand, accessible mental health support 24/7/365, and serve as a constant reminder for this community to check in on themselves.
Strategy
Create an integrated marketing campaign driven by the combined attitudes of USC's students, professors, and staff to make mental health services more readily available and accessible.
To reach this audience, the campaign would feature Ginger "chat booths" spread out around campus. When students and faculty step into the booths, it will connect them directly to a Ginger healthcare professional through a specialized process.
